How to Measure

Bust

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it parallel to the floor. Don't pull too tight, the tape should sit comfortably without compressing.

Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the navel. Bend to the side to find the crease; that's your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20 cm below your waist. Keep the tape level all the way around.

Tips for accurate measurements:

Use a soft measuring tape, not a metal one.
Wear light clothing or undergarments, avoid bulky layers.
Stand straight and relaxed, with arms at your sides.
Ask someone to help you for the most accurate results.
Measure twice to be sure.

Body Measurements

All measurements in centimetres (cm). Each range is the body span the size accommodates. On the boundary? Size up for a relaxed silk drape.

Skirts are high-waisted skirts designed to sit at the natural waist. The key measurements for skirts are waist and hips.

I'm between two sizes, what should I do?

If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. Our fabric has a natural drape with a slightly relaxed fit. You can also contact us at contact@vkeller.com and we'll be happy to advise you.

Can I get a custom size?

Since our pieces can be ready-to-wear and made-to-order, we can accommodate minor adjustments to standard sizes in person. Please contact us before placing your order to discuss your specific needs. Custom sizing may require additional production time.

What if my measurements don't match one size perfectly?

It's common for measurements to span across sizes. Focus on the measurement that matters most for the garment type: bust for tops, waist for skirts, and bust + waist for dresses. Our fabrics have a gentle drape that allows for slight variations.

How does silk fabric fit?

Our fabric is a premium, non-stretch woven fabric that drapes naturally. It does not cling to the body. Instead, it flows along your silhouette. This means you don't need to size up for stretch; the garment's cut provides the movement.

What is the model's height and size, and how was the size chart built?

Our reference fit model is 170 cm (5'7") and wears FR 38. The size chart was built directly from her body measurements, with a small adjustment at the hip line so size 38 reads cleanly across bust, waist and hips. All garment lengths in our charts are based on this reference height.

Key body measurements used as the FR 38 base:

Bust: 92 cm
Underbust: 81 cm
Natural waist: 79 cm
Upper hip (tour de hanches): 91 cm
Full hip / pelvis (tour de bassin): 104 cm
Arm length: 60 cm

Note: our model sits naturally between FR 38 on top and FR 40 at the pelvis , her tour de bassin is fuller than the standard FR 38 hip. To preserve a clean FR 38 silhouette, we tightened the hip line slightly so the size reads true. Sizes above 38 are extrapolated by +4 cm per step, with the slight +5 cm jump typical of French ready-to-wear from size 44 upwards.

What if my recommended size isn't currently available?

VKELLER pieces are produced in highly limited numbered series, with stock running in French sizes 36 to 42. If Find My Size recommends a size outside this range , or your usual size is sold out , please reach out at contact@vkeller.com and we’ll let you know when the size is planned for restock, or advise on the closest available fit.
